Review: The Master Mind of Mars

Here we met Ulysses Paxton, another earthman that goes to Barzoom; however his adventures are far from the original lived by John Carter. Paxton almost never uses the "gifts" that an earthman has naturally on Barsoom, and end being an apprentice to a mad scientist for half of the book. Th other half has one particular deus ex machina that solves all the plot. It's entertaining, but with a very slow beginning and very few thrills thereafter.
