Haroun and the Sea of Stories by Salman RushdieMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is my first book by Rushdie, and I'm gratefully surprised. The pacing is amazing, the story very well crafted in a Neil Gaiman way: a nice blend of high fantasy and harsh reality. It was a little bit predictable, but stories told for kids tend to be this way. I would have liked a few more plot twists.
