The first official setting book for MtA (there was a little chantry/setting of Seattle in the Hidden Lore but it was not as detailed), set in the post-Reckoning, avatar storm-ridden World of Darkness. It is filled with lots of very interesting ideas like what were the Anazasi, and the technocratic construct in the Nevada desert. However the book is filled with all the clichés about Las Vegas, the characters portrayed are not very interesting, and there is nothing related to the Umbra of the city. It is a fine book to start, but you have to make it alive on your own, which is not bad after all.
